I am full time professional artist known for Decometric murals, conceptual
installations, vivid pastels, giant puppets, environmental designs, children’s
programming and love of architecture. As a Fine Arts major of sculpture
and photography, I received a cum laude Bachelor of Arts degree from
Brooklyn College, and a second degree in Color Theory from the New
York School of Interior Design.
I taught at the Armory Art Center (15 years) and at Old School Square
(16 years). As a well-known lecturer on the architectural stylings of
Twentieth Century design, I am the founding president of the historic
preservation organization Art Deco Society of the Palm Beaches. I enjoy
public speaking and presenting power point presentations to large
community audiences. As a public arts administrator and organizer, I work
with groups of artists and volunteers to create enormous murals and public
art installations.
My first book on the architecture of Palm Beach County, Art Deco of the
Palm Beaches, has been published and released by Arcadia
Publications in June 2007. The book contains 204 black and white images
I photographed with captions and chapter introductions. My new book,
Murals of the Palm Beaches has been awarded a Silver Medal by the
State of Florida Book Awards (FBA) and will be the topic of a Palm Beach
County Gov/TV episode of Inside History in the fall of 2019
