I was born and raised in Damascus, Syria. I came to the U.S. as an art student and finished my BFA and MFA at ISU, Indiana. I currently teach art classes at ISU and I have developed an art education/therapy program for syrian refugee children (Seen for Syria)
My artwork had been shown nationally (DC, Cincinnati, Indiana, South Dakota) and internationally (Slovakia, Egypt, France, Jordan). I have also participated in international art workshops and symposiums.
