In 2019 Trystan returned to the U.S. His current work combines geometric forms, abstracted symbols, gestural lines and texture to build series of deconstructed visual landscapes. Hints of architecture, nature, and human behavior are presented in a stripped down, symbolic form. His compositions provide just enough information to suggest a narrative but not enough to make it obvious leaving room for viewers to build their own relationships with the pieces. Trystan's principal efforts and exhibitions throughout 2024-26 will be focused greatly on the development of sculptural work that will present his work on a larger scale and in formats that interact with nature and the natural world. Since 2023, Trystan has also acted as the Collections Manager and Archivist at The Londonderry Arts and Historic Society in Londonderry, VT. He is also in the process of building a non profit organization set to launch late 2025 called Humans Plus Art which will house core projects centered in the preservation of history, and the diffusion of culture and Contemporary arts into rural areas around the world.
