I studied at the Corcoran School of Art. My work is in numerous private collections and corporate collections as well as the Harvard Law School.
My work is entirely abstract, without themes; my search is to find the spirit and essence lurking inside the stone with which I am working. I'm intrigued by the absence of space, not by design, but as the end product of my search for what the stone will reveal.
My stone maquettes are cast in various media including bronze, stainless steel, acrylic, resin, and lead glass. They range in size from less than a foot in height to over 7 feet.
I am represented by the Zenith Gallery in Washington and have had shows there, at Trinity University, and the art space at 1111 Pennsylvania Ave NW, DC.
Depending upon the medium, the pieces can be displayed either indoors or outside.
