Originally from Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains, Elizabeth Zans currently lives and works in Yangon, Myanmar and Lesvos Island, Greece.. She attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Tyler School of Art, where she received an MFA while living in Rome. Elizabeth has received fellowships from The Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and La Friche Belle du Mai in Marseille, France.
