My work features books in both still life and interior settings. I have always believed that books possess qualities beyond their text. Coming from a small town, reading has given me a window into the world that was otherwise not accessible. Books allow us a greater understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Through my art I hope to convey the joy of reading and raise the awareness of the importance of literacy.
