Anna Breininger ?(b. 1985, Hagerstown, Maryland) grew up in rural Pennsylvania. She received her MFA Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and attended studio practice programs at Goldsmiths College in London and School of Visual Arts in New York.
Her work addresses aspiration, projection and desire as it relates to interior surface and architecture. Recent exhibitions include DTW>>>LAX, CB1 Gallery, Super Sketchy, Alley Oop Projects, and Not Her First Rodeo, EMBASSY. Her upcoming exhibitions include Summer Show at 24 Hour Charlie's and Uncommon Ground, curated by Katherine Whitlock at FOCA.
She contributes to Contemporary Art Review Los Angeles and has curated projects at The Arcade, Los Angeles California, EMBASSY, Los Angeles California, and Forum Gallery, Bloomfield Hills Michigan.
