Born December 29th, 1983 in Biloxi,Mississippi Mrs. Vigil-Reyes was encouraged from a young age to express herself. After serving in the USAF, Thomas Reyes Sr. started working for Boeing an worked his way from mechanic to field service engineer, working with Great Britain,the UAE, and Spain. His hard work, determination and constant relocation of the family has given Ms. Reyes a greater understanding of the world she lives in and the person she wants to be. Winner of Two silver ADDY awards and one Gold ADDY award for her photography, Yolanda enjoys creating in a variety of mediums.Her watercolors represent a more therapeutic "art journal" of the artist as she recovered from multiple disc replacement surgeries in her early 20's after a bad car accident. Having over 12 national exhibitions under her belt her work has been exhibited in a wide range of venues from The Erotic Art Heritage Museum in Las Vegas and the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, she hosts workshops and continues to be an active member in her community. She currently resides in Northern California with her Peruvian Inca Orchid Service Dog. She teaches photography and painting to adults with intellectual and devolpmental disabilities at Studio 700, in Roseville, CA.
