I grew up in Berkeley and Bangkok with a parent in each country, a childhood punctuated by plane rides. Growing up in the Bay Area, I was surrounded by a rich history of subversive political movements, grass-roots community organizing, and an emphasis on celebrating individuality. With a foot in each culture, I had to seamlessly adapt to Bangkok’s metropolitan streets — an international hub steeped in tradition, yet experiencing rapid development and global influence.
