Born on October 28th, 1966 at Jalgaon, I am currently located in KATY, TX. I had my initial education at Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India. I did my Bachelor of Fine Arts (Commercial Advertising) from Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Arts, Mumbai, India in 1987 and won “The Best Campaign in Consumer Products” for the company Kwality Ice-Cream as a part of final year degree project. Though I have a degree in commercial advertising “Oil on Canvas” remained my first love. Even though oil on canvas is my first love, I have not restricted myself to one medium of art. I am a blessed multifaceted artist and love to work in all mediums and with all types of materials. I own a firm Studio Advait that provides products and services in the field of art that includes paintings (all sort material and size) murals (any materials and size both indoors and outdoors), wall murals, calligraphic art work, caricatures, and photography: industrial, social, and cultural, stage designing, stationary designing, advertising etc. Till date I have successfully conducted more than 15 paintings and mural exhibition nationally and internationally. My firm has an eminent client list that includes personalities from the field of Indian cinema and music industry, sports, politics, corporate world and individual clients. My recent international achievements include Award for Outstanding Achievement at Colored Pencil Society of America's 23rd International Exhibition, Guest Artist in Residence at Jonkoping Municipal Govt.s 5 weeks Art Residency at Jonkoping,Sweden, two artworks selected for "We are the bridge"Interfaith art Exhibition at California,
participation in an international art exhibition at Vesak Festival at Bai Dinh Temple Convention center, Vietnam and one of the five artists as outstanding award winners at Toride International Wall Mural competition 2015, Japan.
My mission as an artist is “Enhancing the beauty of the world by creating exclusive, sustainable and eco-friendly work of art for the compassionate art loving community across various cultures around the globe.” I believe in creating artwork that is soothing, refreshing and positive. I strive that my work should always portray peace, make people happy, fresh and motivated. Meditation, spirituality and nature are my strongest inspirations.
