Lena Sanders was born in Mesquite, Texas in 1988. Sanders graduated from Tyler Junior College with two distinct Associate Degrees and an Advanced Technical Certificate. Her Associate Degree in Game and Simulation Development Graphics focused her skills on 2D and 3D computer art for video games and other digital media. Her Associate Degree in Fine Art further explored and practiced various techniques in studio art. She also attained her Advanced Technical Certificate in Game Design that same year. Her natural form at the time was drawing and painting. Lena is currently a student at University of Texas at Tyler and her new focus in functional pottery. 2D was her original interest, but once she found the wheel it drove her to meet the challenge of throwing. She does not plan to go professional with pottery, but maybe someday she will own a wheel of her own and continue as a hobby.
