Born in Denver and raised in the high desert near Green River, Wyoming, David Alan Clark produced his first commissioned bronze while still in his teens. After earning his BFA he worked in the advertising industry in Chicago, becoming Vice President of Creative before returning full-time to sculpture and Wyoming.
Today, David's work can be seen from coast to coast as public monuments and portrait monuments. The bulk of his work is site-specific, and many have an historic theme. His sculptures have won awards at various shows; and has been exhibited at the National Sculpture Society and at Sculpture in the Park in Loveland, Colorado multiple times.
Upcoming commissions include three lifesized portraits for Texas Christian University, and portraits of Jimmy Hendrix and Little Richard for Nashville, Tenn.
