Griffin Carrick

I am a paper quilling artist born in Chicago and raised in Johnsburg, IL. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Arts in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I spent 10 years working as an interior designer and educator. While I first tried my hand at quilling in the third grade, it wasn’t until the summer of 2016, in search of a hands-on creative outlet, that I rediscovered the centuries old crafting technique of quilling and I haven’t stopped experimenting.

My quillings has been juried into several group exhibitions since 2018, I was a finalist in the 2019 Etsy Design Awards: Inventive Decor Category, my quilled collage was used as artwork for an article in the magazine Legacy Kids, and in January of 2020 my work was featured in Our State Magazine. I currently reside in Fayetteville, NC with my husband, who serves in the US Army, and our three children.
