Gwen Hallford (Instagram: AsayasArtworks) is a contemporary digital artist who lives and works in Albuquerque, NM. She uses bold colors and strokes that resemble traditional artworks, modernizing a classic style.
As a child Hallford has enjoyed illustrating and watercolor painting. In high school, Hallford received college credit through AP Art with her breadth focusing on her Filipino culture—depicting everyday life in the Philippines. Gwen Hallford will graduate with a B.A. in Game Art Animation from Full Sail University Spring 2023.
2017, Hallford enlisted in the United States Air Force to serve and protect her country. In summer of 2020, Hallford had been commissioned for a mural on an Air Force Base Hangar in Albuquerque, exemplifying the beauty of New Mexico and a tribute to our United States Military. In Fall 2020, Hallford was selected by Adobe and the Keith Haring foundation for their worldwide contest that selected 13 winners for a $5k prize and a feature on Adobe MAX. She is now using her education benefit to further her knowledge on Fine Arts and Business.
