Hong Wei is an international contemporary sculptor and ceramic artist. His works have been numerously displayed in national and international exhibitions, ranging from China, European nations, and the United States. His work “Weight of Meditation Series” is widely well known and won Taylor Prize of sculpture category – by the Louvre Museum’s International Exhibition in December 2013. His recent work “Allegory of Balance Series” has been drawing considerable attention from the society and his porcelain works were just permanently collected by the Beijing 2014 APEC International Conference Center. Hong Wei is a member of the International Academy of Ceramics and the Chinese Sculpture Institute. In January, 2014, he was invited to be a member of Taylor Foundation (established in 1844) in Paris, France.
