California based watercolor artist Irina Sztukowski was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and came to America in 2001 in her early Thirties to proof the American Dream is to follow your dreams.
She studied art in the St. Petersburg Academy of Art, the Art-Industrial College, and graduated from Leningrad Academy of Culture in 1992. While in Russia; she was a successful artist, selling her works to locals and tourists alike. She continued her journey through the art world after coming to America, resulting in her exploring her creativity with a new vigor and enthusiasm.
Studying for Irina has been a life-long process, and will continue to be one. She loves to learn, loves to teach, focusing in the art and jewelry making process. As an accomplished artist, she continues to polish her skills by painting in her art studio and conducting art lessons to people of all ages.
Her passion is painting with watercolors; her style is contemporary realism, and her subjects range from portraits and still-lives to beautiful landscapes and panoramic city views. Most of her paintings are in private collections maintained in America and throughout the world. She continues to show her paintings in local galleries and business offices.
