Retrospectively, art has been a part of Īṣā Orí's DNA since inception. However, it only manifested when she was 28 years old. Before that, she never new she had artistic talent.
She was never formally trained nor educated in the field. She believes that this ability is a gift
, so it is only fair, to allow it to flourish organically.
In it’s genesis, her images were given life using charcoal on paper. Since then, she has been able to add strong
physical presence to her characters using acrylic and oil paints. Although, all three mediums add
their own uniqueness to a piece, she have found proclivity with oils.
