My name is James Akers. I am an artist currently based out of Dallas, Texas. I live with my partner Ali Feeney and am typically working all the time either as an art handler or art maker. As an artist I make messy sculptures that compete with large tech companies and advertising cam- paigns for attention. I began working with glass and using neon heavily in my sculptures at Alfred University around 2012. I have been moving around living and working in various places in the US since then.
