I’ve come to understand my work as developing the umbrella of stark contrasts forced into conceptual collaborations. Currently, I’m exploring and innovating the connective, and sometimes competing, relationships of natural materials against epitomes of societal advance and luxury. Issues of security, frivolity, excess and consumerist desire arise, progressing through the overall evolution of the work while maintaining a lighthearted attitude.
