I grew up in Indiana and graduated from Herron School of Art in Indianapolis. I have traveled and lived in the U.S. and abroad including New Mexico, California, Arizona, Florida, France, Mexico, and Kenya. My media of choice is oil but I also work in a variety of others including acrylic and pastel. My subjects are whatever interests me at a given time but the play of natural light on the landscape is always interesting to me regardless of where I am living. Currently I am working on a series of vintage motel signs, working from photos I have taken as I travel. I have an exhibit of these at Modica's in Long Beach, CA. I am a member of the Oil Painters of America and the Tucson Pastel Society. I also have donated work to JDRF, SAAF, and other fundraisers. This past March I served as the art director for the Beta Cell Bash silent auction (for JDRF) in Indianapolis.
