Keeley Rae

Keeley wasn’t just a kid with finger paints. By 17, she had already been commissioned to paint several murals around her home near Portland, Oregon. After graduating college and gaining experience as a studio assistant, she visited family, who had relocated to Washington, DC. An offer to teach an art class led a short visit to become a permanent move to the nation’s capital. Keeley immersed herself in the local art scene, quickly becoming involved in a creative mentorship program for at-risk youth and contributing to the youth programs at the Art League until she decided to pursue painting full-time. Today, she showcases her work across the US. Whether capturing whimsical dancing dinosaurs or delving into the complexities of family ties through portraiture, Keeley continually strives to engage her viewers in the narrative.
