Kelli Shea Couch was born in LaGrange, Georgia in 1986. She received her BFA in Photographic Design from the University of West Georgia in 2014. She is currently in her 2nd year of graduate school at Georgia State University. She is pursuing an MFA in Photography and she is expected to graduate in 2018. Most recently, Kelli and three other artists were selected to exhibit work in the prestigious Student Prize Show at the Atlanta Photography Group. She also participated in an all female show with four other artists, which included her professor Nancy Floyd. Kelli remains in LaGrange, Georgia so she can continue to explore her relationships with her family and friends through art. She is married with two children and makes most of her work in her at-home studio.
