Kimmary I. MacLean is a Maryland artist with a focus on nature and wildlife, depicted both realistically and as fantasy. She works in a variety of media including charcoal, pastel, acrylic, pencil, and digital photography.
In addition to being an artist Kimmary is also a ballet teacher at National Ballet Institute for the arts. She holds her teachers certification in the Cecchetti Method of Ballet through the Cecchetti Council of America. She also has Bachelor degrees in both Accounting and Studio Art from University of Maryland, College Park.
Recently, Kimmary published two childrens books to Kindle, 'A Caterpillar Goes for a Walk' and 'One Squirrel in A Tree...'. 'A Caterpillar Goes for A Walk' is also available in print through Amazon.
A book of poems, alongside fantasy landscapes, for a more mature audience, is in progress.
