Lisa Marie Sipe was born in the suburbs of Chicago, studied design at Arizona State University and lives in Bend, Oregon. Her success as an artist has been recognized on the CBS Arizona morning show and in The Arizona Republic’s article “Making their Mark,” as well as other publications, including the artist of the month in Ignite and Phoenix Magazine. Sipe’s work has been exhibited at the Tucson Museum of Art, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, Westbeth Gallery in New York and many other galleries and museums nationwide. She’s part of the permanent collection at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. Her work will be included in the upcoming release of the book, “Embracing Encaustic” by Linda Roberts and in the winter publication of Studio Visit magazine.
