After many years working in the financial services industry, Lucia Balinbin has returned to her artistic roots, once again picking up oil paints and brushes. A recent transplant to the New Smyrna Beach, Florida, area from Marblehead, Massachusetts, Lucia enjoys painting expressionist figural scenes, still life and portraits.
Lucia received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Seattle University, Seattle, Washington, in 1975. She also studied for two years under classic portrait artist Shelley Layton in Norwell, Massachusetts.
