In an autumn day of 1967, I was born to a Kurdish family in Iran. When I was 6 years old, we moved to Tehran and I graduated with a diploma in Science from high school and started to work right away experiencing various jobs.
Painting was a late inspiration in my life and in 1987, when I was 20 years old, I started to train with Ms. Nategheh Refaei; one of Mr. Ali Motie (famous Iranian miniaturist) students. Within 4 years of training, I learnt miniature painting in Herat School and studied various methods and techniques.
Later my life took a turn and my artistic career stopped till 2010. During those silent years, I received Yoga training and practicing it became one of the pillars of my life and created a profound change in my life views and had a major impact on my paintings ideas and styles.
I create my artworks with an approach to miniature techniques, using gouache, watercolor and acrylic. I am also active in other art activities like Patina, Decoupage and Painting on Fabric.
