Marin Abell is an educator and transdisciplinary artist who works both individually and collaboratively. His creative practices often take the form of sculptural events that unfold into communities and explore individual and cultural identities. These projects are designed to connect people, explore how our lives are entangled with our external environment, and at the same time generate new forms of collectivity. He has taught at various institutions for higher education, and is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Sculpture Dept. at the University of Alabama Huntsville. In 2010 he served as the Director of Outreach at Spiro Arts in Park City, UT.
