Mariojosé Ángeles (03/22/1965), is a Dominican visual artist, curator and researcher, with more than 30 years and recognized local and international career. In 1982, he began his architecture studies at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD). He exhibited for first time at the Dominican-American Institute in 1988. After his outstanding exhibition "Caribbean Icons" (1997), at the Regional Archaeological Museum of Altos de Chavón, he was chosen by selection jury "Great and Young Today" in Paris. He resided for 9 years in the city of Brussels. His works are part of public and private collections in the European continent.

2020 – Currently he is an art curator and organizer:
Curator and organizer of collective exhibition "MASCARILLA", with 18 Dominican artists participating. He was appointed as curator of CROMA curatorial project and representative the Dominican Republic in ArteLatAm cultural organization, based in New York City. November 2020, curator of exhibition project #AAPlicados: innovation technology art exhibit, Dominican Republic, with 18 participating artists.
