Palmarin is an artist whose work draws from the desire to become more sustainable as an artist by re-using materials close at hand and by adapting restriction as a generative force for creation. These common materials, formed from the fabric of her daily life become processed then blended until its growth is expressed in a new flowering separate from its past into new work exploring various aspects of life as a human here on Earth. She also teaches at PNCA, Pacific University and at the Multnomah Arts Center. She can be found wandering her neighborhood with her dog Barney.
