"Shapes of life intrigue me: organic shapes of nature and environmental abstractions are a visual pleasure. It is the experience of the world around us: a concern for our planet and a concern for our future is of utmost significance. Current works show exotic textures and bold colors through geological strata." Faye creates an inner composition , a closer image, a minute strand within the planet. With three degrees in art, she continues to expand her curiosity and creativity with our Earth, as she explores inner layers, unique formations, and aeriel views. Faye has exhibited throughout the United States (New York, Santa Fe, New Orleans, Miami, Asheville, and Dallas)and Europe. She is influenced by the pattern repetition of Gustav Klimt and Southern quiltmakers. The patterns and colors of the Earth find commonality in the many shapes and forms of trained and self-taught artists.
