I was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I attended Vassar College in New York State and received a B.A. in Art History after studying and working in Italy. I studied for one year at Tyler School of Art before beginning my career as an artist and art teacher. Later in life, I studied at The University of the Arts where I received an M.F.A. in BookArts/Printmaking.
I have taught in many schools and art centers and recently retired from working as a teacher for several decades at The Philadelphia Musuem of Art.
I have exhibited in many juried group and solo shows.
