I was raised in Baltimore, and attended Bryn Mawr school for girls where we were encouraged in the arts . Upon graduation I went to the Boston Museum School for one year and then transferred to Mica .During that period my family moved to Brussels for three years and I had the great fortune of travel and attending painting program in Aix - en- Provence .Ive lived in New England and Maryland with husband and children. I Maintain a warehouse studio in Baltimore although the majority of my work is from outdoors- capturing atmosphere and light and color of different subject matter. I mostly paint in Maryland and Maine where we have camped and returned to once or twice a year to Mt Desert island,and New Mexico for the past five years.
