Shahini Fakhourie is a Miami-based designer and textile artist with over 10 years of experience in the fashion industry.
As a Jamaican-American fashion designer and textile artist, Shahini has honed her skills through national and international residencies in Maryland and Iceland. Her dedication and talent have been recognized through various awards, including grants such as the Artist Access Grant and the MAS grant, both from Miami-Dade County, FL. Her unique artistic vision explores themes of femininity, empowerment, and immigration, expressed through textures, colors, and mediums in her work.
Shahini's creations have been featured in prestigious publications such as 5 ELEVEN Magazine, House of Solo Magazine, Stylist Magazine, L'Officiel Italia, and L'Officiel Arabia. Her work has also been exhibited in both group and solo exhibitions in Miami, as well as showcased in a virtual showroom during Paris Fashion Week and London Fashion Week.
Driven by a commitment to innovation, Shahini has pursued further growth and development opportunities. She has completed the Babson College's WIN Growth Lab Accelerator, a program designed to support entrepreneurial ventures. Additionally, she has been accepted into the Nest Artisan Guild.
