Mostly self taught artist, though I majored in art and have a BA from Western Illinois University. I paint in a realistic style and attempt to capture a moment in time with clarity and purpose of encouraging the viewer to stop and note everyday moments that might otherwise be lost. I also work in oils, mixed media including batik and stuff work, computer art, pencil, and murals.
