Sarah’s concentration in art is in the human form, and natural landscape, created with a diverse range of mediums: pen and ink, charcoal, pastels, oil, acrylic, water colors and pressed wax. Her styles vary from impressionistic to contemporary.

Yet at the heart of Sarah’s work is the local environmental palate that dominates her productions of today. Transcending a myriad of light and a deft use of color, her works speak to others in any language, displaying a colorful world, wide and accessible, painting from inside out. Photographing in Ireland, England and France has inspired a large body of her work.

Sarah’s formal training in art began in 1974, exhibits began in college settings, while studying with independent and accomplished artists. In 1996 she began to show in galleries, one man shows, restaurants and hotels. Sarah paints for private collectors including property scenes for the Montage Resort and Spa in Laguna Beach. Her passion for the natural world and color informs her every piece. Sarah developed a successful Holistic Practice in 1993 at which time she was also painting. She focused on Alternative Therapies including Massage Therapy, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Reflexology, Acupressure, and EFT. Her focus now is Art, having had a rewarding career in Eastern based Alternative Holistic Therapies. Her formative and educational background was in Psychology, Holistic Alternative Therapy, Art and Classical Ballet.
