Tokyo-born, TGFN aka Camille Clifton is French/American, a native of Paris & Rhode Island, based in Washington DC. She studied Art History, Studio Art and Interior Design.
At 20, she opened her first art gallery promoting Haitian art in Newport, Rhode Island. She worked as a set decorator for Miramax Films. For 8 years, she was an art consultant working in Bucharest, Skopje and Belgrade; where she partnered with other interior designers, banks, companies, embassies and private clients with art acquisitions and consulting. She collaborated with the European Central Bank's art curator in Frankfurt in selecting artists for a special exhibition. She delivered presentations to various organizations, including a featured segment on Romanian Television on the topic of Romanian Contemporary Art.
Today, she exhibits her photographs in Paris (France), Bucharest (Romania), Frankfurt (Germany), Bari & Venice (Italy), San Francisco CA , Washington DC , Aiken SC, Hilton Head Island SC, Atlanta GA, Los Angeles CA, Savannah GA and Columbia SC. She has been a Guest Speaker at Connecting for Change a program with Marion Institute in New Bedford MA and held numerous workshops and lectures in Washington DC.
She published her first book, The Girl From Nowhere's Eyes Speak: a collection of photographs taken in Paris, Marseille, Frankfurt, Washington DC, Skopje and Bucharest in 2013. Her second book, Massive Waste of Time is due to be released in 2014.
