Tamara Rafkin

Tamara Rafkin’s imagery walks the line between the documentary and the narrative, approaching the subject of how our emotions and culture are imprinted on our public spaces. She is drawn to her subject matter by both personal history and an interest in cultural anthropology, perpetuated by having lived in several regions of the US and in Belgium.

Currently she is a resident of New York’s Hudson Valley and has been exhibiting her artworks globally for over 25 yrs with a long history of photographic artwork she has also in the past 10 yrs began to create ceramic and installation artworks adding to her artistic range.
