Tia McLaughlin was born in Seattle, Washington and lived in the beautiful Pacific Northwest until she left for college at Brown University. After law school and a stint as a lawyer, Tia began painting and taking art classes in NYC. Her abstract oil paintings have been exhibited and collected throughout the US, Ireland and Northern Ireland. Having lived in Washington, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, California, New York and New Jersey, and in Australia and Ireland, with her permanent address in Seattle, Tia would feel particularly honored for her work to serve as a visual US ambassador to another country.
