Many years ago I made acoustic guitars, and lived a young luthier’s dream. I stopped for the better part of two decades spent in various media and environmental pursuits. In 2007 I created the first Knickerbocker Benches as gifts to a local New York State Park near our home. It was a means for me to express my appreciation for the benefits of the natural environment. I have made many of them since then, and have enjoyed every one.
