Raised in a civil service family in Washington, D.C., Martha Ture took her Master's degree in Public Policy at the Goldman School, U.C. Berkeley. She has worked as a federal fisheries biologist for National Marine Fisheries Service, as a regulatory analyst for EPA and the California Public Utilities Commission, as a journalist and author. Her current work as a nature and wildlife photographer provides thousands of people with a daily moment of appreciation for the natural world. Her award-winning photos have been shown in the United States and internationally.
