Takeyce Walter is an award-winning American painter (Jamaican-born) living and working in upstate New York.

Driven to create from an early age while living in Jamaica, WI, Walter has been producing art for as long as she can recall.

After immigrating to the US as a young teenager, Walter continued her interest and studies in art. Today, her paintings capture the beautiful landscape of the Northeast, US. Her work often depicts the many river, streams, and lakes located hear her home.

In addition to painting, Walter also teaches art workshops in the upstate NY Capital Region. Her work can be found in many private and public collections.
