Abby Zonies has a BFA from Boston University in 1977, and an MFA from The School of the Museum of Fine / Tufts University in 1980. Her work has been shown extensively in the New England area and is included in numerous private and corporate collections. Abby is the recipient of a Massachusetts Foundation Fellowship in 1981. She recently moved to Manhattan and was inducted into the National Association of Woman Artists in 2013. She was the recipient of the Miriam E. Helper Memorial Award for her painting in the show Ev(e)olution at the New York Public Library, Riverside branch, 2014. Her recent work has also been included in the International Art Festival sponsored by the Russian Art Museum, Chelsea, New York, 2014, Paperworks Unbound, a juried show at the WAH Art Center in Brooklyn, New York, 2014, and the Prince Street Gallery, 7th National Juried Exhibition, 2015.
