Born in Rochester, New York, Aaron Delehanty is an artist and painter. His work uses the tradition of landscape painting to build uncertain scenes of urban settlement and its interaction with nature. He has exhibited widely; his work was included in New American Paintings, Proximity Magazine, and the forthcoming Knee Jerk Magazine. His solo show Visible City/map room was recently seen at the {fill in the blank} Gallery in Chicago, and just a short time ago he was an award winner in Chicago's Art Loop Open. Aaron is also the co-founder of the Co-prosperity School, an artist run school for and about the advancement and understanding of contemporary Chicago art. A graduate from the Masters program at the San Francisco Art Institute, and the bachelor's program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago; he lives, works and plays in Chicago.
