Aubrey Garwood was raised in a bucolic part of Maryland in a valley of the Appalachian Mountains with plenty of dairy farms. Her childhood was filled with frequent afternoon hikes and cross-country road trips to National Parks, which cemented her love of nature. As a child, before she started school, she said she wanted to be an artist. She is working to fulfill that childhood dream.
