Artist Statement:
I paint out of the necessity to explore ourselves and the world around us—our light, ?our shadows, our wholeness. The work comes from this place of trusting that ?which we so often doubt; our gut instinct.?
This intuitive process can be serene and chaotic, lush and messy, loose and intense. This pushes me to pay attention to the rhythms, patterns and colors—the unexpected gifts surrounding us.?
My work challenges me to open up to an expansive point of view, to see the beauty around us. My intention is for the viewer to be opened up to this shared experience as well.
