Jeff Evans discovered that his job as a rocket scientist wasn’t as exciting as he thought it was going to be. So he took some photography classes as a creative outlet. Soon he was going to galleries and museums and had collected 300 photo books to learn more. But the best way of learning he found was taking lots of pictures, lots and lots of bad pictures. After 20 years he finally considered himself good enough to be in his first group photo show. Ten years later, he had photos in the “2014 Rockford Midwestern Biennial” at the Rockford Art Museum, Rockford, Illinois.
