Ms. DiGi studied at the Art Students League of New York with Mary Beth McKenzie and Joseph Peller. She received her MFA in Painting from Lehman College and her BFA in Drawing and Art/Design Education from Pratt Institute.
In 2012 she received an artist residency on Governors Island and was deployed to basic training in Cape May by the United States Coast Guard and is ncluded in the 2010 Coast Guard Permanent Collection as a COGAP artist. She won numerous awards and is the first recipient of the Kenise Barnes Art Award. Amy DiGi is a former NYC and Portland, OR Public school teacher. She volunteered in the U.S. Peace Corps Philippines.
