Andrea Krupp

Andrea Krupp is a visual artist exploring themes of self, place, language and the transmission of experience through time. Anchored in landscape and light, her artwork is synthesized, interior and personal. She creates a visual space that invites the unfocused gaze; a space for remembrance, daydreams and reflection.
She recently completed three rounds of visual arts residencies in Iceland in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Andrea lives and works in Philadelphia. She studied Printmaking at the University of the Arts, graduated with honors and a BFA in Printmaking in 1984.
She moves between several spheres of influence as a visual artist, rare book conservator, historian, book artist and diarist. Each contributes to her way of seeing and interpreting the world.
