Nataliya Andreyeva

About the artist (Nataliya Andreyeva)

Nataliya was born and raised in Ukraine but also spent part of her childhood in India and Yemen. Later, she traveled to Europe, Mexico and the Bahamas. Many of her art ideas and color combinations come from travel memories, imagination and experimentation. Now Nataliya enjoys living and working in the Washington DC area.

Art Work

Nataliya is a self-learner who started with a passion for oils, and currently experiments with mixed media. Her art is vivid and thought provoking. While abstract in nature it may appeal to your imagination and curiosity. Her "signature" (style) is in the positioning of the paintings or objects. They are designed to be presented in multiple positions and orientations - vertically or horizontally, close together or separately... as long as it speaks to you. Dominant colors are passionate red, intense yellow, deep blue and intricate green.

Exposure

Nataliya made charitable art contributions for the DC 6th Annual Men of Strength Awards, Crafty Bastards Fair in 2004-05, Adams Morgan Day 2006-2009; Art Gala Auction 2007-2009 for the Two Rivers Charter School of Washington D.C. Currently, her work is on public display at The Federal Reserve, Washington DC (Private collection/viewing for one year) and Ebenezers Coffeehouse on Capital Hill.

Nataliya continues to work on her special project dedicated to the history of the Metro Rail System of Washington D.C. and was published in Washington Times to reflect on this initiative.

Nataliya is also a contributing writer on the Arts Scene in the DC area for DC Examiner
