Andrew Schwartz

Andrew Schwartz (b. 1987) is an American artist based in New York City. He received a BFA with concentrations in painting and sculpture from Cornell University in 2010 and an MFA in painting from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in 2016. Schwartz has shown in group exhibitions at Morgan Lehman Gallery (New York, NY); Rick Wester Fine Art (New York, NY); Deanna Evans Projects (New York, NY); Geoffrey Young Gallery (Great Barrington, MA); and NARS Foundation (Brooklyn, NY); among others. His work has been written about in publications including Praxis Interview Magazine, PICNIC, and Juxtapoz. Schwartz is the recipient of an NES Artist Residency in Skagaströnd, Iceland.
